Well I've got some interesting news for anyone in the green business!
Last night I sponsored our newest team member, a truck driver from Edmonton, AB Canada. Like so many independent truckers, he is finding himself squeezed out of business by out of control diesel prices. He has taken a big step into a larger world, where he can make an unlimited income in a global business - without having to burn a single gallon of diesel ever again! And of course the company he has joined - Shaklee - offsets its carbon emissions through environmental programs all over the world! Congratulations to Larry!
Also, more good news. I bought a new, smaller motorcycle (in addition to my cruiser). I'm using this one strictly for commuting. It's got a little 200cc motor that gets 77mpg! So far this month, I personally have only used about 10 gallons of gas, including errands in my car and commuting to work!
Going green is fun, and it's great to help others to do the same!
